Yes. Each team must designate a captain. The captain will serve as the primary contact between the team, club and league management.

Team captains are responsible for:

  • Submitting lineups
  • Reporting roster or availability issues
  • Reviewing and confirming match results

Each team matchup includes women's doubles, men's doubles and two mixed doubles games. The team that wins the most games wins the matchup. If the matchup is tied after four games, a DreamBreaker-style singles tiebreaker will determine the winner.

Games will use traditional (side out) scoring, excluding the DreamBreaker which will be rally scoring to 21. Games will be played to 11 and teams must win by 2. The full scoring procedure will be provided in the official league rules.

A DreamBreaker is a singles tiebreaker used when the team matchup is tied after the four doubles games. Players rotate through singles points in an established order. After 4 points, the next player enters the game. The first team to reach 21 wins the DreamBreaker and the overall matchup. You must win your team's 21st point on your service.

The official league ball will be the Dwell 40. Approved balls will be provided by the league or host facility.
